Things That are Happening in 2010

As we begin 2010 there are many changes on the horizon in our industry.

Changing regulations are impacting every aspect of our ability to serve our clients and our core competency and understanding of the rules will affect our income. Those who are willing to learn quickly and have the support to navigate the new waters will have a distinct competitive advantage.

At Surety Financial we have worked hard to provide our agents with the knowledge and support to compete in the new market place. Our ability as mortgage bankers to underwrite and fund conventional, FHA and Jumbo loans with the use of our own HVCC compliant appraisal panel has made life a little easier for all. Leadership’s 25 plus years in the industry has charted a steady course in an ever changing environment.

Surety Financial expanded in 2009 becoming a new home for many mortgage professionals who were struggling with their existing companies. For many reasons, those companies were not able to provide competitive pricing, products, or service for their customers.

As the new regulations make it more difficult and labor intensive to do business we expect this to continue in 2010. Surety Financial plans to continue its growth mode and capture market share by providing competitive advantages in pricing, knowledge and service to its agents and business partners.
